Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2026
We understand that plans change. This Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all bookings for public cooking classes, private events, and corporate experiences at Savory Craft Culinary Studio. By making a reservation, you agree to the terms below.
1. Public Classes
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the class start time: You may choose a full refund to your original payment method or account credit equal to the full amount paid. Account credit never expires and can be used toward any future class.
- Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the class start time: You will receive a 50% account credit. No cash refunds will be issued for cancellations in this window.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class start time, or no-shows: No refund or credit will be provided.
If you need to cancel, please do so through the confirmation email link, by calling us at (503) 728-4916, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellations are effective upon receipt of your notification.
2. Substitutions
If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send someone in your place at any time without penalty. Please inform us of the substitute participant's name and any dietary restrictions at least 2 hours before the class starts.
3. Private Events & Corporate Bookings
Private events (including birthdays, bridal showers, and corporate team-building) are governed by a separate event agreement that will be provided at the time of booking. In general:
- Cancellations more than 14 days before the event: Full refund of the deposit, or rescheduling at no additional cost.
- Cancellations between 7 and 14 days before the event: Deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled date within 6 months.
- Cancellations less than 7 days before the event: Full balance is due and non-refundable. Rescheduling may be possible at our discretion, subject to a 25% rebooking fee.
For corporate clients with special billing arrangements, the terms in the signed contract will supersede this general policy.
4. Cancellations by Savory Craft
Our classes require a minimum enrollment to run (typically 4 guests). In the rare event that we must cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, chef illness, or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you at least 24 hours in advance and offer a full refund or transfer to another date of your choice — whichever you prefer.
If a class is cancelled due to severe weather or a natural disaster, we will make every effort to reschedule or provide a full account credit.
5. Gift Cards
Gift card purchases are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law. If a class paid for with a gift card is cancelled within the allowed window, the original gift card value will be restored as account credit.

We'll process refunds within 5-10 business days after the cancellation is confirmed. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
